Auto Emission Testing Station

Overview

With a view to create a vehicular pollution free environment in the State, the department has taken steps for opening of Auto Emission Testing Stations throughout the state for periodical testing of the limit value of smoke emitted through motor vehicles engine and to issue necessary Pollution Under Control Certificate. Accordingly, as many as 175 nos. of Private Auto Emission Testing Stations had already been set up by Unemployed Youth in different places in the state. In the year 2015-16, the collection of revenue on account of P.U.C.C. & Licence renewal fees is Rs. 44.01 lakhs
